We have had an eventful start to the 2025 season. Our winter fishing wasn't nearly as good as it usually is so I have been staying busy with media. I was a guest on a radio show called "the Hot Spot" Bob Renkins fishing show. I was on 2 Podcasts "Reel Unfiltered Talk" with Dion Hibdon. Midwest Outdoors Experience live in January. Mike Baker Videos on You Tube came for a new way to catfish I developed. Wired2Fish did 2 videos about winter fishing for crappie and catfish. Then we had a Toyota Series tournament in the end of February. It is a pro level tournament where I was happy to make it to the final day of competition and have a great event. Now we are well into spring break trips. Lots of crappie, bass and spoonbill trips. Up and down weather has made it difficult but that is typical for March. April is getting closer. Crappie will be spawning in April. May will be a lot of fun bass fishing, that's when they spawn. That is a good time to troll for crappie too. After that I really won't crappie fish until the fall. June is too busy with Bass, white bass, and catfish trips. If there is one time of the year to have a good chance at walleye it is June. July isn't bad but things are busy. August isn't as busy and if you come during the week it's pretty nice. Find me on Facebook for recent photos and videos.
